Following the announcement this week from Companies House that all persons with significant control (PSC) and company directors will need to have their identity's verified from 18th November 2025, we wanted to ensure our existing clients and all perspective clients that we have been working away behind the scenes to make sure everyone who is effected is compliant with this new ruling.
From 18th November 2025 a transition year will commence, meaning that all identities must be verified upon the filing of the next company confirmation statement. For example if the next confirmation statement for your company is not due to be filed until February 2026, this is when your director and PSC identity checks will need to be completed by.
As an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) with Companies House we have the software available to verify your identity on your behalf. We will be offering this to all directors and PSC's as part of our limited company accountancy service.
