How it all began
The Accountancy practice was a career dream for Emma and she soon learnt through life experiences that she should execute this sooner rather than later.
Luckily for Emma her former colleague Kerrie had decided to provide bookkeeping and payroll services in a flexible working approach whilst bringing up her small children. This soon began to grow, an office base was found and soon the dining room table was a distant memory.
After a short career break Emma and Kerrie decided to join forces and Amity Accountancy Ltd was born, the business continues to grow and the Ladies are proud of what has been built.
Bringing together knowledge, competence and the personal touch, a well-rounded and forward-thinking service is offered.
The focus is to provide advice for the current needs but to not forget future planning, this progressive approach helps to support businesses not only now but to achieve future goals and ambitions.
Meet Emma
Emma studied AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) completing Level 4 in June 2013 and being granted MAAT status, with previous work experience in industry and practice giving a well rounded knowledge base. After completing the AAT qualification Emma taught Level 2 alongside her former Tutors and finished teaching in 2017.
Outside of work Emma enjoys long walks with her husband and dog called Roy, often a long walk ends with a pub lunch! Emma also spends her time catching up with Family, having a glass of wine with Kerrie and attending fitness classes at her local sports hub.

Meet Kerrie
Kerrie joined an accountancy practice at the age of 18 and studied for her AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification, being awarded level 2, 3 and 4, before being granted MAAT status in November 2013. Since then, she has gone on to obtain FMAAT status with the AAT in August 2019, then becoming a licenced member in 2023.
Outside of work Kerrie can either be found in a coffee shop, with her two young children, out on a run, or having a glass of wine with Emma.
