We attended the Buy Local Norfolk September event last week and it did not fail to provide us with a lovely time as usual!
So you think you know your cakes?
We attended the Buy Local Norfolk September event last week, being held at The Maids Head Hotel in Norwich.
After a brief introduction, getting to know everyone around the room, we were presented with a selection of cakes from the local to Norwich business; The Kraken Bakes. This was with the exception of a few store bought cakes in the mix, to determine whether we could distinguish the difference between them.
As usual, the beauty of a Buy Local Norfolk event is the relaxed atmosphere, making it easy to then mingle amongst everyone, also being given the perfect conversation starter with the discussion of cake!
Easily being able to tell the difference in quality and taste, with The Kraken Bakes dairy-free and gluten-free cakes standing out above the others, we came away having made new connections amongst the local businesses, as well as being wonderfully full up on delicious cake!
